What we do

Seven disciplines, one standard of finish.

Every service below is delivered by the same pair of hands, from the first survey to the final silicone line. We do not subcontract the tiling out.

The method

The finish you see is the part we spend least time on.

18 years of tiling in Berkshire houses has taught us that almost every failure starts underneath the tile: an unprimed wall, a flexible floor, a shower that was never tanked.

  • 01

    Preparation before tiles

Boarding, priming and levelling are costed in from the start, because no tile stays flat on a floor that is not.

  • 02

    Setting out on paper first

Centres, cuts and sight lines are planned to the millimetre, so the tile you notice least is in the corner.

The village atlas

Covering Reading and the villages around it.

Each area page covers the housing stock we work in locally, the jobs that come up most often there, and how we get materials to the door.

How it runs

From first call to final grout line.

  1. 01

    Site visit & measure

We look at the room, check the walls and floor with a straight edge, and talk through what the space can realistically take.

  2. 02

    Fixed written quote

A line-by-line price covering preparation, materials, tiling and waste removal. No day rates, no surprise extras.

  3. 03

    Prep & tanking

Strip out, boarding, levelling and certified waterproofing. The unseen work that decides how long the finish lasts.

  4. 04

    Tiling & handover

Set out, fixed, grouted and sealed. We leave the room clean and walk you through the care of every surface.

“The setting out is what sold us. Every line in the ensuite runs true, and the cuts around the niche look like they were planned rather than squeezed in. Three weeks on and not a single hollow tile.”

Rachel H.

Bathroom tiling · Caversham

“We had two quotes and went with these guys because they actually explained the tanking. They found the old shower had been leaking into the floor for years and fixed it before tiling. No hard sell, just straight answers.”

David & Sue M.

Wet room installation · Woodley

“Herringbone floor through the hall, kitchen and utility, and the pattern lines up perfectly through every doorway. Dust sheets everywhere, cleared up each night, and finished a day early.”
